Kay Lee Ray vs Piper Niven for the NXT UK Women's Championship
The fourth and final bout of the night was the Falls Count Anywhere Match for the NXT UK Women’s Championship between Kay Lee Ray and Piper Niven.
We wouldn't have to wait long for things to kick off as Niven would attack Lee Ray before the bell and get a colossal suicide dive for the first pinfall attempt of the match. The longest-reigning NXT UK women's champ would get little time to recover as Niven would hit a massive overhead belly to belly suplex.
Lee Ray would counter with a sunset flip over the barricade, but would only receive a two count. Lee Ray argued with the ref but got a steel chair to the back for her troubles.
Lee Ray would retaliate by launching the ring bell at Niven and missing by a very narrow margin. An irritate Niven would get her revenge by taking out Lee Ray with the assistance of the steel turnbuckle to the knee.
The action would finally get in the ring and would become increasingly violent as Niven got a steel chain, but Lee Ray countered with a kendo stick. The chain changed hands, and Lee Ray would wrap it around Niven’s face for some uncomfortable and wince-inducing viewing.
Somehow Niven would power out and drop the champ onto a trash can for another two count and some reprieve for the challenger.
The action would spill to the outside once more. But just when it looked as though Niven had the upper hand, Jinny would blindside Niven from out of nowhere. Niven would recover quickly and lash her into the barricade.
The violence would escalate as they headed backstage to inflict more damage to one another. Niven would take a stop sign to the face, and Lee Ray would take a picture frame to the head. Niven would get a guitar to the back but recovered to plant the champ with a horrible looking Piper Driver to the floor for yet another two count.
The two NXT UK competitors would take the fight over to a stack of flight cases. Niven dragged Lee Ray to the top fo the boxes, but just as she is about to throw the champion off them, Jinny whacks her with a steel chair. Niven goes tumbling through the table below as Lee Ray falls on top of her for the victory.
Result: Kay Lee Ray retains the NXT UK Women's Championship against Piper Niven on NXT UK
