Kayleigh Rae, commonly known as Kay Lee Ray, is a Scottish professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE and is currently assigned under the NXT UK brand.

Independent Circuit

Kay Lee Ray made her professional wrestling debut at SWA Battlezone on 30th May, 2009 and in her first match, she lost a Battlezone Rumble to determine the #1 contender for the NWA Scottish Heavyweight Championship. Kay Lee Ray's first singles loss came to Vyper (Viper aka Piper Niven) on March 26, 2010. In 2014, Ray defeated Martin Kirby to win the SWE Speed King Championship. In 2016, Ray won the Queen of Southside Championship in a Triple Threat Match. In 2017, at WCPW: Built to Destroy, Ray won the WCPW Women's Championship from Viper after initially replacing Bea Priestly in the match.

Insane Championship Wrestling

In 2011, Kay Lee Ray made her ICW debut at The Notorious I.C.W defeating Carmel. At Luke...Who Yer Da? Ray defeated Vyper in a tournament final to capture the Fierce Females Championship. In 2015, Ray's reign as the Fierce Females Champion (now known as the Scottish Women's Championship) came to an end at 755 days. Later in the year, Ray challenged for the inaugural ICW Women's Championship in a match also featuring Nikki Storm and Viper. Ray failed to win the match, as Viper was crowned as the first-ever ICW Women's Champion.

At ICW: Fear and Loathing IX, Ray won the ICW Women's Championship by defeating Carmel Jacob and Viper in a Triple Threat Match. In 2017, at ICW: Shug's Hoose Party IV, Ray lost the ICW Women's Championship to Kasey Owens in 37 seconds. On October 1, Ray won the title back at Fight Club tapings. The next month, she lost the title to Owens at Fear and Loathing X in a three-way match also involving Viper. At Fear and Loathing XI, Ray won the Women's Championship from Viper in a Queen of Insanity Match.

Total Nonstop Action

In the 2014 TNA British Boot Camp, Kay Lee Ray appeared for the promotion where she lost a Fatal-Four Way match also involving Nikki Storm, Kasey Owens and Leah Owens. Ray also lost a match to Gail Kim during her time with the promotion.


On October 8, 2015 tapings of NXT, Ray lost to Nia Jax. In 2017, Ray competed in the Mae Young Classic Tournament but eventually lost to Princesa Sugehit in the first-round of the fight. At NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool, Ray appeared ringside along with Jazzy Gabert. It was eventually confirmed that Ray had signed a deal with WWE.

On March 13, Ray made her NXT UK in-ring debut defeating Candy Floss.

Kay Lee Ray captured the NXT UK Women's Championship after defeating Toni Storm at NXT TakeOver: Cardiff 2019. After a record-setting 649 days as the champion, Lee Ray's reign came to an end by the hands of Japanese star Meiko Satomura on June 10, 2021 episode of NXT UK.
