WWE Paradox: WWE Superstar John Cena can wrestle, and better than Brock Lesnar

Lesnar’s moveset since his return is limited

Over the past year or so, Lesnar has been nothing but strong move and suplex barring his finisher. He may show some signs of other things, but when you German suplex a man 15 times....you are by no means showing great move diversity. The fans eat up this style of move-set by Lesnar. In reality, it is just as limited as people hated John Cena over

The difference? Character.

Lesnar barely talks, and he comes off more heelish than anything else. Fans dig heels, especially big guys who can throw others around like ragdolls.

John Cena is a big man, almost the same size as Lesnar in fact. However, he does not have a random strong move style. One can actually argue that John Cena has shown himself to be a better wrestler than Brock Lesnar in 2015.

Before you write your hate comment, think about it. John Cena has put on classic WWE United States Championship matches with several talented performers. He has been the best part of WWE RAW each week for his wrestling, not talking segments. He has also helped to put over the likes of Cesaro, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, Neville, and more. He has been putting on very good matches on every PPV this year as well.

Yet Lesnar has not done this as often as Cena and arguably does the same old stuff we have seen him do. Cena continues to show us something new while Lesnar shows us the same move-set that he beat John Cena with at last year’s WWE SummerSlam.

It is arguable, but if we go off the facts....Lesnar is the exact thing a “wrestling” fan would hate. Meanwhile John Cena is the exact thing a wrestling fan would love if we based both men’s in-ring skill on this year alone.

Both men are obviously fun to watch. Lesnar shows some exciting material when he throws people around, but Cena has shown some classic matches with some of the WWE’s lesser known talent. Yet fans have the gall to call John Cena a bad wrestler?
