Dean Ambrose did not have a match to showcase this week, but it was a strong week for him nevertheless.

Ambrose managed to get the better of AJ Styles by helping out James Ellsworth. By doing this, he has filled in the slot as the only contender for AJ Styles.

John Cena’s absence was beautifully masked by WWE using James Ellsworth, and as the win of Ellsworth came as a direct result of Ambrose’s antics, we are now back to a one-on-one situation between Ambrose and Styles. Ambrose would be out to haunt Styles once again in the upcoming week, meaning that we should keep an eye out on him.
