AJ Styles, who has enjoyed a stay on top of the Power Rankings for quite some time, suffers a drop after his loss to James Ellsworth on SmackDown.

Though the champion successfully defended his title at No Mercy against John Cena and AJ Styles, the defeat at the hands of Ellsworth is a big blow for him. AJ will now be defending his title at SmackDown next week and holding on to the same in a convincing manner would be a good way to get back on top.

Elsewhere, on the longer run, a feud with Dean Ambrose seems likely as the two could once again face off at Survivor Series for the title once the Ellsworth scene settles down.
