WWE RAW: 10 Best crowd signs from the RAW after Wrestlemania 32

Booty O’s is already a rage!

The Raw after Wrestlemania always has a unique atmosphere with the crowd consisting of die-hard fans from all across the world who have stayed back to watch RAW. They aren’t afraid to voice their opinions and displeasures loudly and voraciously. They always chant for the wrestlers they want to see and not who WWE is forcing upon.

The Raw after Wrestlemania took place in Dallas last Monday, and in this article, compile the 10 best signs in the crowd that you may have missed.

10: Genuine gratitude is rare, especially when it’s directed towards Vince

Vince McMahon has become one of the most recognizable names in professional wrestling over the years. His feud with Stone Cold Steve Austin during the Attitude Era that cemented the WWE as the world’s foremost ‘Sports Entertainment” company are some of my earliest memories of pro wrestling.

However, over the years, he’s also antagonized a large portion of his fanbase by repeatedly pushing the wrestlers he wants to and keeping down fan favourites. This was what made it so surprising when the above fan came to Raw after Wrestlemania that was lukewarm at best with a sign thanking Vince.

9. Here Comes The Money!

Even though Shane McMahon lost at Wrestlemania 32, The crowd at Raw treated him like a homecoming hero. (Courtesy: WWE)

Shane McMahon is many things. A coward is not one of those. Shane is known to WWE fans as an unrivaled daredevil who isn’t afraid to put his body on the line for the sake of entertaining the fans.

Even though Shane lost to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 32 and failed to bring the changes he promised to the WWE Universe, fans in Dallas treated him like a departing hero on Raw. This was one of numerous Shane O’Mac signs at Raw.

8: New Day Rocks

Many expected The New Day to waltz out of Wrestlemania with a victory over the League of Nations. Even though they lost at the ‘grandaddy of them all’, if the Raw after Wrestlemania proved anything, it showed that The New Day are by far the most popular tag team in WWE right now.

The crowd went crazy for them. So did this fan. His BOOTY O’s sign is probably the best sign of all time. Probably.

7. Pun-tastic

“Add Bray to the main event or we Wyatt” (Courtesy: WWE)

The Wyatt Family just can’t catch a break. Over the last year or so, they’ve lost almost every important feud they’ve been in and WWE still expects fans to treat Bray and his family as genuine threats. The sad part is that fans want to care about Bray Wyatt but WWE isn’t giving them any reason to do so.

The Wyatt family turned up on Raw fresh from sharing screen time with The Rock on Wrestlemania to a monstrous reaction from the crowd. Though there were many Wyatt signs in the crowd on the night, this one took the cake, “Add Bray to the main event or we Wyatt!!!”.

That's pun-tastic.

6: Bank On It

“I flew 3544 km to see Sasha win” (Courtesy: WWE)

This first thing I want to get out of the way is that I’m a huge NXT fan. I’m also a huge Sasha Banks fan. I watched Wrestlemania in a Sasha Banks t-shirt waiting for her to win. After the match finished, I felt almost exactly the same way as this fan felt.

She flew around the world to see Sasha win at Wrestlemania and all she got was a meaningless victory over Summer Rae the night after. It was gutwrenching. On a sidenote, I’m glad that the Divas Revolution is over and the age of women’s wrestling has begun.

5: Tyler’s Gorgeous

“I really paid 2 c Tyler Breeze” (Courtest WWE)

The story of Tyler Breeze is a cautionary tale to any NXT star being promoted to the main roster. Vince McMahon has a certain idea about what a star looks like and no amount of wrestling ability or fan support will change that.

Breeze’s highest point on the main roster was probably his debut. Since then, he’s been buried six feet under.

Until I saw this sign, I was convinced that I was the only Tyler Breeze fan left out there. I really was.

4. Mixing out the boo’s during the Wrestlemania 32 main event will come back to haunt WWE

“Don’t mute our voices! We pay 4 this” (Courtesy: WWE)

WWE mixed out the boo’s during the Wrestlemania 32 main event in order to give Roman a better chance at making a good impression on the viewers at home.

Pushing Roman Reigns this hard, at the expense of the fans is only increasing the backlash against him withing WWE’s core fanbase. The crowd was once again dead set against WWE forcing him down fans' throats.

This fans' sign summed it all up in 7 words. On a side note, a heel turn is probably around the corner. It seems like the only option left.

3. This Is Wrestling

“We watch wrestling” (Courtesy: WWE)

WWE coined the term ‘sports entertainment’ during the 1980s to describe their style of professional wrestling, which was equal parts of glitz and glamour and an equal part of wrestling. Ever since then, Vince and the wrestling community have been at loggerheads over WWE’s use of the term.

What the hell does sports entertainment even mean? It's called professional wrestling, dammit. This fan made his feeling about the term clear during Raw on Monday night. We watch wrestling and that's the bottom line.

2. S-A-W-F-T

Enzo & Cass were really popular with the crowd on their Raw debut (Courtesy: WWE)

NXT’s most popular tag team of all-time are finally here and you have to hand it to these fans. They really were prepared in case Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady made their Raw debut. And what a debut it was.

Enzo and Cass verbally demolished the Dudley Boyz on their debut and the raucous crowd were behind them throughout.

If you aren’t into Enzo & Cass’ after their blistering debut then I have ONE word for you, and I’ll spell it out : S-A-W-F-T.

1. West Ham United fans in the house

“We’ve got Payet”. West Ham United fans dedicate a sign to Dmitri Payet at Raw. (Courtesy: WWE)

Dimitri Payet has had a blistering season in the English Premier League thus far. His performances since his arrival at West Ham during the summer have been such that he recently signed a contract making him the highest paid West Ham United player of all time. With that being said, West Ham fans who’d made it to Dallas for Raw on Monday weren’t afraid to it show off a little bit.

As a Manchester United fan myself, I’d brag if we have Dmitri Payet on our team too. WHAT. A. PLAYER!
