Who will The Beast cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase?
Who will The Beast cash-in his Money in the Bank briefcase?

Even though the last episode of WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw, saw a minimal rise in the viewership from the previous week's episode, the show overall did not live up to the expectation of the fans.

The slight increase was totally expected, given how things unfolded at Money in the Bank on the previous night. However, WWE struggled to put together an overwhelming show.

While the segment featuring Bray Wyatt did not have much in it, the highly anticipated new title revelation by Mick Foley was also a letdown. Well, be it the title design or its name, the new 24/7 title has left the Internet divided. However, the average reaction seems to be negative.

Thus, creative would be under a bit of pressure to deliver on the upcoming episode of Raw, which comes live from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

With WWE Super ShowDown just around the corner, expect WWE to continue building and hyping the event. Also, with Brock Lesnar potentially scheduled to reveal his cash-in opponent, and of course, the amusing 24/7 title up for grabs, the upcoming episode looks promising.

In this article, we take a look at 3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#3 Lacey Evans becomes the first woman to hold the 24/7 title

It looks totally on the cards
It looks totally on the cards

Ever since Mick Foley revealed the newest 24/7 title on the last episode of Raw, it has created a complete circus on both the brands. It has left superstars on both the brands running behind the champion with a referee to get a hold of the amusing title.

While the current champion R-Truth managed to escape the horde of superstars thanks to an crafty disguise by Carmella, it might not be the same on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Yes, while titles changing hands looks totally on the cards, WWE could go one step ahead to crown the first-ever Women 24/7 champion on the upcoming episode of Raw. As a matter of fact, WWE might have laid down the breadcrumbs for the same as Lacey Evans teased ambushing R-Truth for the 24/7 title a while back.

Thus, it would be interesting to see how WWE goes on about executing the same if/when it happens.

#2 WWE announces Dominic vs Samoa Joe for the US Championship for Super ShowDown

It would be fascinating.
It would be fascinating.

Rey Mysterio became the new US Champion after defeating Samoa Joe at Money in the Bank in a match which made headlines due to several reasons. Yes, not only did the match abruptly after Joe was left bleeding profusely through his nose courtesy of a seated Swanton from Rey gone wrong, but the 6-1-9 Superstar too suffered a separated shoulder.

With Mysterio getting injured, Joe appeared on the last episode of Raw, demanding Rey to vacate and hand over his US title to him. However, given how actively WWE has been involving Rey's son, Dominic in this feud, creative could use this situation wisely to have him step-in to fight on behalf of his father for the title.

Given how things have unfolded in the feud, it would seem totally apt for Dominic to stand for his father.

Thus, WWE could officially announce a fascinating match between Samoa Joe and Mysterio's son, Dominic for the United Staes Championship at Super ShowDown.

#1 Brock Lesnar chooses Rollins to cash-in in his Money in the Bank briefcase in a match at Super ShowDown

It could totally happen
It could totally happen

Before Brock Lesnar won the men's ladder match at Money in the Bank, the rumours of a potential championship match between The Beast and Seth Rollins at Super ShowDown were making rounds all over the Internet.

Given Lesnar could be scheduled to reveal the opponent for his cash-in on the upcoming episode of Raw, Seth Rollins looks far more ahead in the race than Kofi Kingston. Also, with Ziggler attacking Kofi, a feud between the two looks totally on the cards. As a matter of fact, WWE has already announced that Kofi will be defending his WWE Championship against Ziggler at Super ShowDown.

Thus, the recent development has more or less sealed the deal for the Money in the Bank briefcase. And so, on the upcoming episode of Raw, WWE could have Lesnar announce that he will be cashing-in in his briefcase against Seth Rollins at Super ShowDown to lay down the breadcrumbs for a mini-feud between the two.
