Drew McIntyre has all the skills one needs to be a top-tier star in the company. He is skilled on the mic and can put on great matches between the ropes. While the wrestler didn't see great days during his initial run, his return has been phenomenal as he won the NXT Championship, and has been a part of various storylines since he came back to the company. He hasn't got the opportunity to win the WWE Championship yet, and this could be his first attempt at becoming the WWE Champion.
He deserves the push, and it is a possibility that the company would provide him the same. Drew currently plays a heel, but it wouldn't take long for him to switch characters as the wrestler can turn face with ease, and the WWE Universe would be rooting for him and his win.
If he wins at Royal Rumble, then it would be a great push, or else, we may see him become the champion at WrestleMania 36.
