While there is no doubt that having the WWE RAW Tag Team Titles on Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman adds more prestige to them, what can’t be denied is that the pair are not actually a ‘team’.

The two are simply singles competitor who came together for one night and won the title off Anderson and Gallows, who have been Tag Team partners for a long time now.

This is something that undermines the real Tag Teams out there as it goes to show how the company prefers two singles competitors over them for the time being. But there is a very good opportunity to correct this by using Strowman and Rollins to put over another Tag Team, as mentioned earlier.

The pair are almost certainly not going to hold the titles for a long time as their win might be used as a springboard towards a feud between the two. But for now, thinking from the perspective of the likes of Heavy Machinery and the Viking Raiders, the message from this doesn’t really bode well for the other Tag Teams.
