#2 Helps build Bray Wyatt without Finn Balor being involved

Officially, Bray Wyatt's first match after his return is set to take place at SummerSlam when The Fiend takes on Finn Balor. With the two building their rivalry on the blue brand, letting Wyatt appear on RAW in this manner is a great way to build up his new character.

The fact that he is attacking retired legends and Hall of Famers is great booking from WWE as there's no way this would divert any attention from his ongoing rivalry with Finn Balor. There's no way any of these legends would call back Wyatt to attack them and start a feud of their own, hence these are just one-time attacks that serve only one purpose - build The Fiend as an unstoppable force.

Had it been any regular wrestler in their place, that would have started a parallel rivalry for Wyatt, which he is more than capable of handling, but as the old saying goes - something special should not be given too much.
