#2 To make the third hour feel unscripted
The WWE Universe came to know that along with the introduction of the 24/7 championship, there will also be a change in the third hour of the flagship show. WWE will not use the traditional booking mannerisms that they had been using since long but the final hour of the show will get an 'unscripted' element to spice things up.
We have seen that a lot of viewers tune out of RAW when the episode enters its third hour and this was perhaps the best way WWE could force the viewers to stick around. Sami Zayn's 'Electric Chair' segment was one of the best segments of this show.
In this PG era, WWE cannot book Attitude Era type segments but they can also have these 'Electric Chair' thing because it allows the guest superstar to speak his heart out. We saw how Sami forced the WWE Universe to ask him about his 'personal life' and 'how good a kisser he is'.
