Another thing that is being teased by WWE is a triple threat match between Styles, Strowman and Rollins for both the Universal Championship and the United States Title.

There is no point in making The Phenomenal One interrupt the contract signing only for it to be signed next week. So, expect another such interruption next week, only this time, Styles will be integrated into the Universal Championship match wholly.

If this match happens, it will put the United States Championship on the sidelines for a while, similar to the Raw Tag Team Titles. But the triple threat match is a dream for many WWE fans and it will most definitely be a barnburner.

As you would have noticed, the current Universal Championship match at Clash Of Champions doesn't really have a proper villain. Both Strowman and Rollins are babyfaces - this might have been the reason for involving Styles in this feud.

Many reports have speculated the outcome of a singles match between Strowman and Rollins, with more and more indications suggesting that the former will turn heel. If Styles is involved in the Universal Championship match, The Monster Among Men wouldn't have to turn heel after all.

Vince doesn't really like the idea of a face vs face clash and that might have persuaded him to involve AJ Styles in the story line. Whatever the case may be, right now, it seems like The Phenomenal One will be getting a Universal Championship shot very soon.
