#3 Possibility of building towards a trilogy with Edge and Randy Orton
They say that in life, all good things happen in threes. So, while Randy Orton and Edge could certainly meet at Backlash, I have a feeling that their rivalry will stretch well beyond the pay-per-view and we could see the third clash between Randy Orton and Edge on a massive stage like SummerSlam.
We do not yet know if live crowds will return to arenas by the time that SummerSlam comes around, but if Randy Orton and Edge both have one win heading into the pay-per-view, imagine the amount of heat that both men would have accrued by that point. And the third installment of the feud could have a stipulation like a steel cage where these two men take each other to the limit.
The best part about both Edge and Randy Orton is that they are storytellers in the ring and outside it too and this means that when presented with the opportunity to build a feud, they will excel in a big way.
