#1. Sheamus takes on Riddle in a non-title match on RAW, but what will unfold?

Sheamus suffered a third defeat in a row last Monday on RAW and his second defeat to Bobby Lashley in just seven days. Later that night, he crossed paths with United States Champion Riddle, and Sheamus was irritated enough to attack him using his own scooter.

It seemed to hint at Sheamus vs. Riddle being the direction for RAW heading into WrestleMania 37. This week on RAW, Riddle will face Sheamus in a non-title match. We're not big fans of the idea that a Champion should be pinned before a big pay-per-view in a non-title match. However, Sheamus will be expected to overcome Riddle on RAW to earn a title shot at WrestleMania.

But is an outcome like that too obvious for RAW? WWE could still go in the direction of Riddle vs. Sheamus at WrestleMania, but instead of having a proper match on RAW, a controversial upset win for Riddle could set up the bout.
