WWE RAW: 5 Surprising returns we can witness tonight (20 May 2019)

Will the Dead Man rise again tonight?
Will the Dead Man rise again tonight?

After the conclusion of a solid Money in the Bank PPV that saw a shocking ending with The Beast Brock Lesnar adding himself to the Money in the Bank match and becoming the new Mr. Money in the Bank, WWE has a lot to answer to its fans on the fallout RAW episode of MITB.

A blockbuster segment has already been announced for RAW tonight that would see the Hardcore legend, Mick Foley, announce WWE's newest title, which I believe would be the Hardcore Championship. In one of my articles, I've given the reasons for why Foley would reintroduce the Hardcore title tonight.

Other than providing justifications for some of the outcomes and segments at Money in the Bank, the focus would also be to start the build-up of the WWE Super ShowDown, which is set to take place on June 7th at Saudi Arabia.

With this being the last RAW before AEW's first official event Double or Nothing, Vince would be looking to make a huge impact with the show to keep the ratings high and making fans tune in again next week. With this, I can sure see some major returns happening on tonight's RAW.

In this article, let's take a look at the 5 surprising returns that we can witness on Monday Night RAW tonight and the impact that they will have on the WWE programming in the coming months.

#5 Bray Wyatt

Can this new monster make his in-ring return tonight?
Can this new monster make his in-ring return tonight?

Bray Wyatt's new gimmick alongside his "Firefly Fun House" has taken WWE Universe by storm in the last month or so. His constant tease of a demented side of his fun-looking new avatar led to the scariest segment of Firefly Fun House last week that saw Bray revealing his monstrous side to everyone.

The new masked monster persona has made fans excited and everyone is waiting to see where is this all leading to. The biggest question in everyone's mind is who would be Bray's first opponent, or should I say "prey"?

Bray Wyatt making his in-ring return tonight could be a huge moment on the show and could lead to an even creepier segment of the Firefly Fun House. Who do you think will he attack first?

#4 Luke Harper

Will we see him as Bray's newest ally?
Will we see him as Bray's newest ally?

The situation between Luke Harper and WWE is still not very clear. Among the reports of him asking for the release and WWE instead adding six months to his contract, and we are yet to get any confirmation about his status with the company.

Bray Wyatt did tease a reunion with him on RAW in a reply to a fan tweet by saying that he is working to get Harper into the Fun House, but we are yet to see him appear on WWE TV. Could this all change tonight? I can surely see the possibility of Harper returning alongside Bray in a new avatar of his own and aiding him to run havoc on the roster.

These two former Wyatt Family members can prove to be extremely dangerous together.

#3 Eric Young

Could the leader of Sanity make a meaningful return to RAW?
Could the leader of Sanity make a meaningful return to RAW?

Sanity is a prime example of Vince not willing to try anything new on the main roster. After having a successful run in NXT, the faction was called up to the main roster and ever since has been wasted so badly. The saddest part is that they were not even given a proper chance to shine.

With the members of the group moving to different brands now, we can expect their leader Eric Young to get a singles run on the roster. With Mick Foley announcing a new title on Raw, and the buzz being that it would be the Hardcore title, can we see Eric Young make a return to remind everyone that he is a Hardcore legend as well?

#2 and #1 Goldberg and The Undertaker

First Time Ever!
First Time Ever!

One of the biggest matches announced for the Super ShowDown PPV next month in Saudi Arabia is The Dead Man, Undertaker going one-on-one against the myth, Goldberg for the first time ever.

WWE teased this match back at the Royal Rumble 2017 two years ago where these two legends had a brief faceoff before The Phenom eliminated Goldberg from the match. With the match announced for the show next month, can one or both of these two return to RAW tonight to hype-up their once in a lifetime clash?

These two coming face-to-face on RAW itself could be a huge moment and it would be interesting to see who do the fans support more. Either of these two appearing on RAW would definitely help the TV ratings as fans would surely tune in to witness these legends in action live.
