#1 A legitimate platform to push McIntyre

When McIntyre joined the company about a decade ago, Vince McMahon dubbed him as the Chosen One. However, things didn’t go as planned and he was released from WWE in 2014.

After that, he rediscovered himself in the independent circuit and returned with a much bigger and dominating physique and persona. He took NXT by storm and soon won the NXT Championship.

He was then promoted to the main roster and dominated as a sick heel with not an ounce of conscience in him. Many expected him to be pushed to the main title picture but he hasn’t even been in the scene for the Intercontinental of the United States Title.

If he turns on McMahon and brutalizes him in the process, it will establish him again as a strong heel, where he can make a case of how his alliance with Shane was holding him back.

The momentum he could garner by destroying Shane McMahon will restore his credibility and will once again make him eligible for a push to the main event scene.
