John Cena gets an incredible welcome back to RAW

John Cena returned to RAW after a year

Kurt Angle introduced the 16-time World Champion John Cena to RAW for the first time in over a year. John Cena said that Kurt Angle asked him to come to RAW on SummerSlam weekend, to which he agreed. He wanted to face a certain superstar, and guess who it was? ROMAN REIGNS! That's right. ROMAN REIGNS!

Cena said that Roman Reigns was exactly who he was looking for. Roman said that the only time he looked for him was when he took shots at him on Twitter. He said that it was his yard, and dared him to talk trash to him on his face.

Cena said that he didn't come to talk, getting ready for a fight. The Miz then came out with the Miztourage. The Miz was trashing Roman Reigns and John Cena in pure rage and getting an amazing response from the crowd.

The Miz asked for a moment, and the crowd chanted "You deserve it". John Cena proposed a tag-team match between Miz & one of the Miztourage members against him and Roman Reigns.

Samoa Joe came out and said that he had a strong opinion of the situation. He trashed the Miztourage and said that he was going to be The Miz' tag team partner. He ran his mouth on Roman to his face and then looked at Cena, who he attacked.

Roman took out The Miz and the Miztourage while Roman saved Cena from Joe. The two WWE golden boys stood in the ring tall as the crowd chanted "You both suck" at them.

The main event was set for the night.
