Stephanie McMahon returns to RAW

RAW kicked off with Kurt Angle. Angle hyped the contract signing segment between Rousey and Jax later in the night until Stephanie McMahon's music hit. Steph came out and said she was best for business and would oversee the contract signing herself.

Roman Reigns came out next and spoke about how WWE didn't want him to be champion, again. Owens came out after Reigns and he said that he actually liked Reigns before adding that Stephanie was fair and unbiased. He made the mistake of putting his arm around Stephanie's shoulder and she booked a match between Owens and Reigns.

There's been bad blood between Owens and Reigns for ages and there was no love lost during this match. Reigns and Owens didn't hold anything back as they went back and forth. Roman had control early on until he went for a Drive By which Owens sidestepped before replying with a superkick. Owens then hit a senton before heading to the top rope.

Roman stopped Owens in his tracks and went to join Owens on the turnbuckle for a superplex but Owens knocked him off. Reigns replied with a clothesline before hammering in KO in the corner. Owens replied with a snap DDT for a 2 count.

We came back from commercial to see this match underway. Roman and Jinder went back and forth till Jinder took Owens down and the heels beat him down and traded tags, keeping each other fresh. Owens then locked in a sleeper hold. Reigns almost went down but made it back up and clotheslined Owens as both men went down.

Mahal managed to break up the tag and Owens took advantage to hit a cannonball as we headed to another commercial.

Reigns finally tagged in Rollins and he looked set to win the match for his team until Sunil Singh interfered. Mahal hit Rollins with the Gut Check. He then went for the Khallas but Rollins hit him with an enzeguiri. KO tagged himself in and hit Rollins with a gutbuster followed by a beautiful elbow drop.

Rollins replied with a superkick and a Curbstomp to continue his red-hot form.

Sami Zayn invites Bobby Lashley's sisters to RAW

Sami Zayn came out and invited Lashley's 3 sisters out to RAW. Three men came out dressed as women as the segment started off terribly. After the three "sisters" spoke out what a bad kid Lashley had been, Lashley came out himself.

After a couple of inane comments, he charged at Zayn. However, Bobby's "sisters" jumped him as we had a 4 on 1 situation. Lashley powered out and he'd had enough.

He disposed of all 4 men and stood tall in the middle of the ring. The big question after this segment: did this segment really help Lashley get over?

Alexa Bliss vs Ember Moon

The match started off with Alexa forearming Ember in the face. It looked like Ember had gone down, as Alexa bragged, only to turn around and see that Ember was back on her feet after a kip up. Alexa went after Ember's shoulder, and she continued to put pressure on her shoulder.

Mickey James looked to interfere and it looked like she was going to throw her shoe at Ember. The referee saw her and ejected her. Moon kneed Alexa in the face and then hit The Eclipse to beat the former RAW Women's Champion clean.

Contact signing between Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax

Stephanie was clearly trying to rile up Nia Jax and Ronda Rousey as the segment started. Stephanie said Nia was bigger, stronger and more powerful than Ronda Rousey. Steph then poked at Jax, asking her why it took her 15 minutes to beat Alexa Bliss? Stephanie then called Jax lazy and asked her how long it would take Ronda to put Jax in the armbar.

Jax then stood up and said that she wanted to make a name for herself at Rousey's expense. Ronda replied by saying she was going to take Jax's title as well as her arm.

Dolph Ziggler vs Chad Gable

Gable and Ziggler only had a short match but the two of them put on a great show. Ziggler had the control early on but Gable capitalized on a mistake by Ziggler to hit a German Suplex. It even got a worried look from Drew McIntyre as Ziggler kicked out at 2.

Gable then had a submission locked in on Ziggler who reached the bottom rope. He then hit a headbutt followed by a superkick for the win.

Two Riott Squad members were in the same match for one spot in the ladder match. They cleared the ring early on and faced off. It looked like they would come to blows but they laughed and turned back to attacking Natalya.

Morgan held Natalya back as Logan unloaded. Dana Brooke came in and broke it up. Natalya took advantage and hit Brooke with a Discus clothesline before making her tap out to the sharpshooter.

Elias was as over as usual, even though his song wasn't as good as usual. He took a shot at Albany as Bobby Roode's music hit.

Elias assaulted Bobby Roode from behind, not even giving him a chance to take off his robe. Elias charged at Roode again as the bell rang but Roode threw his robe at Elias this time before hitting Elias with a series of chops. Roode then took Elias down with a clothesline before dumping him outside the ring.

Roode went for a Glorious DDT after a Spinebuster but Elias rolled him up. Roode missed his Blockbuster but hit a neckbreaker. He headed to the top rope again and Elias knocked him off before hitting the Drift Away for the win. Another huge win for Elias.

Finn Balor vs Braun Strowman

Strowman was all over Balor in the early stages of the match. At one point, Braun literally punted Balor out of the ring. Braun kept taunting Balor as he kept pounding Balor.

Balor came back with a boot, as Braun charged at him but it was soon all Braun again. Strowman charge at Balor again, who pulled the ropes down, sending Braun crashing to ringside. Balor went for a running boot but Strowman swatted him away.

Strowman picked Balor up and Finn slapped Braun across the face. Braun swatted Finn away again with a right hand. Braun ran around the ring as he looked to tackle Finn and Balor hit the slingblade. He followed it with a running dropkick, sending Braun tumbling over the barricade.

Balor followed it up with a double stomp from the apron to ringside. Finn then hit a Coup de Grace from the barricade. Braun beat the 10-count and got back in the ring, knocking Balor down with a shoulder tackle. Strowman then charged at Balor who sidestepped him and crashed into the ringpost.

Balor headed to the top rope but Braun grabbed him. Even though Balor broke free initially, Braun hit him with a running powerslam. He followed it up with a second and pinned Balor for the win.
