WWE RAW Results 6th November 2017, Latest Monday Night Raw winners and video highlights

This week, RAW came to us on tape delay from Manchester, England. The crowd were hyped and despite the show not being broadcast live, WWE made sure to give us a fantastic episode of RAW.

It featured Braun Strowman returning to the ring as well as Finn Balor taking on an old foe. The show ended with a tag-team title match between Ambrose/Rollins and The Bar.

Miz TV with Kurt Angle

RAW kicked off with The Miz who got a big pop from the fans in Manchester. Miz cut a blistering promo on Baron Corbin, calling him “SmackDown’s toilet break” before calling out Kurt Angle.

Angle came out and said that despite SmackDown having a good run, RAW was the flagship show. Miz then showed footage of SmackDown attack RAW a couple of weeks ago before Kurt Angle addressed Kane attacking Daniel Bryan last week on RAW. Miz accused Angle of orchestrating the attack on Bryan just like Kurt had planned to destroy the Miztourage. Obviously, Angle denied the allegations. Miz retaliated and said Angle had forced him to defend his title last week before putting him in a position where Braun Strowman attacked the Miztourage.

Angle then revealed that to get Braun Strowman on the Survivor Series team for RAW, he had to agree to Braun facing The Miz later on in the night. Angle then walked away as Miz begged him to get out of the situation in some way.

Elias vs Jason Jordan (Guitar on a pole match)

For a guitar on a pole match, this one was really good. Elias and Jordan worked really well together through this short match. Elias was on top for a decent chunk of the match but it was closer to even as far as overall offence was concerned.

Elias managed to climb up and get the guitar first but Jordan ducked his swing and planted Elias in opposite corners into the turnbuckles. He then took the guitar and smashed it across Elias’ back for the win.

Samoa Joe vs Finn Balor

Balor and Joe started the match feeling each other out and the fans were definitely up for this. Joe looked as cocky as ever as the two men locked up. Joe had the clear power advantage as he pushed Balor back and raked his eyes against the top rope.

Finn fought back, dodging Joe and hitting an enzeguiri. Balor headed to the top rope but Joe took his feet out from under him before hitting an enzeguiri of his own. Joe’s deceptive quickeness gave him the upperhand at this stage as he locked in a head lock. Joe followed it up with an elbow drop for a 2-count.

Finn looked to fight back but Joe took him down with a back elbow. Joe then charged at Balor who got his boot up in time, before taking Joe down with a clothesline. Finn replied with a not to the jaw. It stunned Joe and he rolled out to ringside and Balor followed it up with a baseball slide dropkick. Balor headed to the apron and hit a Penalty Kick before rolling Joe back into the ring. Using his experience, Joe rolled out again but Finn caught him with a running forearm as we headed to commercial.

Joe was back in control when we came back. Finn hit back with a Pele Kick as both men went down. Balor got back to his feet first as he hit a Slingblade. He then headed to the top rope but Joe rolled out of the way of the Coup de Grace. Joe replied with an Uranage Slam before attempting to lock in a Coquina Clutch. Finn broke free and hit a standing double stomp that caused Joe to roll out of the ring. Balor followed it with an over-the-top-rope suicide dive.

The duo continued to fight on the entrance ramp as Joe tossed Balor back first onto the floor. Both men got counted out at this point.

Match ended by countout

Finn and Joe continued to brawl as the referees tried their best to seprate the two men. Even Kurt Angle had to come out to separate them. This feud looks like it’ll be hot.

Alicia Fox and Nia Jax vs Sasha Banks and Bayley

With two spots left in RAW’s Survivor Series women’s team, this match had been booked, presumably so Sasha and Bayley could prove to their captain Alicia Fox that they belonged in the team.

Sasha and Bayley were in complete control till the first commercial before which Nia intervened to to send Bayley crashing out of the ring.

Alicia was in control when we came back from the break as she tagged Nia Jax in. Alicia tagged herself back in as Bayley hit Nia with a dropkick and sent Alicia face-first into the turnbuckle. The Miz vs Braun Strowman

It took Miz a little time to actually get in the ring. The Miztourage tried to distract Strowman but were unsuccessful. Miz and his minions then huddled together to try to outsmart Strowman. They were unsuccessful at blindsiding him again as Strowman tossed Miz across the ring as Miz rolled out. Strowman followed Miz and dragged him onto the apron and sent him face-first into the ringpost.

Strowman tossed Miz back into the ring and slammed him into the mat. Strowman then headed out and took out Bo and Axel before going back into the ring and tossing Miz over the top rope and into his henchmen.

Kane’s music hit at this point and he headed down to the ring to go face-to-face with Strowman. Kane went to chokeslam Strowman but Strowman removed Kane’s had from his throat and hit a running Powerslam. Kane sat up immediately but Strowman clotheslined him out of the ring.

Enzo Amore’s promo for Manchester

Enzo came out claiming to be the biggest thing to hit the UK since the bubonic plague. Yeah, he actually said that. He then ran down Kalisto before being interrupted by the former champ himself. But Kalisto just headed to ringside and took a chair.

Pete Dunne’s music hit as the WWE UK Champion came out to make his RAW debut in his home country.

Pete Dunne vs Enzo Amore

Enzo tried talking trash to Dunne’s face but was met with a forearm. Dunne then caught Enzo with multiple right hands forcing him to roll out. Dunne followed Enzo out and sent him face first into the apron before rolling Enzo back in. Dunne then started to work Enzo’s fingers.

Enzo took the upperhand for a couple of minutes before Dunne hit back with an Enzeguiri. Enzo rolled Dunne up and tried to use the ropes to leverage the pin but Kalisto helped the referee spot it.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins (C) vs The Bar (for the RAW Tag-Team Championships)

The Shield boys started off on fire and they were all over Cesaro and Sheamus, to the delight of the fans in Manchester, before Sheamus pulled Cesaro out of the ring. Rollins then hit a suicide dive onto both men before both Ambrose and Rollins jumped off the top rope simultaenously wiping out Cesaro and Sheamus.

The action then headed to the ring as Cersao caught Ambrose with a rogue boot before tagging Sheamus in. Ambrose and Sheamus exchanged right hands before Ambrose tagged Rollins in. They clothesline both members of The Bar out of the ring as we headed to a commercial break.

The Bar were in control for the first time as we came back from commercial. Sheamus had Ambrose on the mat but Dean made it back to his feet as Cesaro got tagged in. Sheamus and Cesaro hit Ambrose with a double-superkick to the gut before Cesaro locked in a headlock.

Ambrose made it back to his feet but Cesaro took him down and tagged Sheamus. Sheamus hit Ambrose with his trademark chops to the chest but Ambrose fought back with elbows. Dean retorted by hitting Sheamus with a spining clothesline at ringside before the action headed back to the ring.

Cesaro tagged himself in and caught Rollins with a boot to the face as Dean tried to tag him in. Cesaro went for a superplex but Ambrose dumped him crotch-first onto the top rope before hitting a flying clothesline. Cesaro made his tag first before but Dean soon got a tag of his own.

Rollins came in and cleaned house, wiping out Sheamus before hitting Cesaro with some high impact offence. Cesaro replied with a Pop-Up European Uppercut. Ambrose and Rollins then attacked Cesaro and Sheamus but the former champions regrouped.
