Enzo Amore vs. Cedric Alexander (Cruiserweight Championship match)

Amore cut one of his usual promos before he defended his title against the talented Cedric Alexander. Cedric was hot from the opening bell as he stunned the champ with his pace and explosiveness. Amore, however, capitalized on a rash decision of Cedric by sending him crashing into the mat on the outside as Nia Jax was shown watching the match backstage.
The champ grounded Alexander from there on with countless headlocks as Cedric looked to fight back. He created separation but Enzo continued to shut him down. Amore dominated with a few strikes followed by a basement dropkick for a two count.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
A massive mid-air dropkick by Cedric on Amore shifted the momentum. Everything was going fine until a kick from Cedric may have accidentally created a nasty gash on Enzo's eye.
The Champion began to bleed profusely, so much so that doctors came out and the match was stopped mid-way after the referee counted him out. Cedric may have picked up the W, but Enzo retained the title while becoming a complete mess in the process.
We hope the Certified G is doing fine.

The Bar vs. Rollins and Jordan for the Raw Tag Team Championships was made official for the Royal Rumble. The Miz got his title rematch too after negotiating with the General Manager backstage. However, he would not have to wait for the Rumble as he could dethrone Reigns on the 25th Anniversary episode itself.
