Samoa Joe interview
Samoa Joe said that his actions were “dishonourable” but he didn’t care, and that the only person whose opinions he cared about were Triple H. Samoa Joe was told by Cole that many believe he was there because Triple H is scared of Seth Rollins.
Samoa Joe said that in NXT no one was on his level. He said that people were scared of him, and he said that Seth Rollins was the perfect example. He told Michael Cole that he would have no issues reinjuring Seth Rollins when he comes back.
He started talking about his RAW debut and said that he was there to make a statement. Cole confronted Joe about the fact that Triple H’s relationship with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton and Seth Rollins soured. Joe said that he was different from these men and that he didn’t need Triple H’s help.
Sami Zayn vs Rusev
Rusev started off the match with a series of rest holds. Sami managed to gain some momentum back until Rusev hit him with a superkick. Rusev even gave a big dropkick. The moment Sami got some offence in, Rusev caught him with yet another kick. Sami dodged a jump from Rusev, who ended up falling face first outside the ring.
Sami Zayn tried to muster some offence but was unsuccessful. However, as Rusev entered the ring, he was caught with a Helluva kick out of nowhere. Zayn then got the pinfall on Rusev.
Sami Zayn defeated Rusev
Sami was interviewed by Charly on the entrance ramp and spoke about the momentum he had, and how it sucked losing to Chris Jericho. He referred to Samoa Joe’s interview, where Joe said that “he was no Sami Zayn who was happy to be there”. Sami Zayn then said that Joe was a sellout, and he was “no Sami Zayn”.
Joe’s music hit, and as Sami turned around waiting for Joe, and Joe came from behind, attacking Sami and choking him out with the coquina clutch. Joe told Sami that when he says his name, he has to say it with respect.

Akira Tozawa vs Ariya Daivari
The Brian Kendrick was on commentary for the match. He said that he and Tozawa are similar. The match started off with a lot of screaming from Tozawa, and a lot of back and forth slaps. Tozawa dominated early on.
Ariya Daivari had a near fall on Tozawa, but it was primarily Tozawa dominating, including a dive through the mid ropes. Tozawa moved rapidly and hit the bridging German suplex lightning fast and picked up the win.
Akira Tozawa defeated Ariya Daivari
The Festival Of Friendship was announced as next.
