WWE Superstar Roman Reigns made his much-anticipated return at SummerSlam, where he took out his cousin Solo Sikoa. He made his intention of taking down the new Bloodline clear during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

When Solo challenged Roman to come out and confront him, Roman obliged and dismantled the entire Bloodline, with the exception of Jacob Fatu, who was out with an injury. However, Roman will need certainly backup down the line if he wants to be acknowledged as The Original Tribal Chief (OTC).

Here are four signs that Roman Reigns will reunite with his cousin and former Bloodline member, Jey Uso.

#4. Roman Reigns' babyface turn

The entire storyline on WWE SmackDown, featuring the latest iteration of The Bloodline led by Solo Sikoa, has successfully transformed Roman Reigns into arguably the biggest babyface in WWE right now. His return at SummerSlam was met with one of the loudest pops in recent memory.

Now that Roman is a fully-fledged babyface, WWE could start building towards reuniting him with Jey Uso, who left The Bloodline last year and has since become one of the top babyfaces on RAW.

#3. Roman Reigns is currently outnumbered on WWE SmackDown

Roman Reigns may have drawn first blood against the new Bloodline, but the war is far from over. Sooner or later, the numbers game will catch up with him. With Jacob Fatu still to return from injury, Reigns needs to ensure he is well-prepared for the battles ahead.

Reigns might consider reaching out to Jey Uso to discuss the possibility of reuniting to take on the formidable alliance of Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.

The Bloodline saga has undeniably transformed the landscape of professional wrestling over the past four years. One of the major stars who has benefitted immensely from this storyline is Main Event Jey Uso.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Jey praised Roman Reigns, stating that no one in the industry was better than him. He also added that he always looked up to Reigns.

“There is no one better. He makes it look so easy. I look up to him. He’s got this art form down,” Jey said.

Despite the tension between the two stars in the past, Jey Uso's recent comments suggest that he still has a great deal of respect for Roman Reigns and might be open to working together again, should The Original Tribal Chief decide on taking this course of action.

Now, WWE has teased another storyline with a new playlist titled "Beginning of the Original Bloodline." Jey Uso even shared the link to this video on his Instagram Story, fueling fan speculation about the possibility of an OG Bloodline reunion featuring Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso.
