Becky Lynch has always been a great underdog babyface, both in NXT and the main roster. Despite being booked as the weakest link of her partnership with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch had something genuine about her that fans could always relate to.
Becky Lynch no longer came across as an underdog when she turned and brought out her new attitude, and that was a good thing because she was seen as a dominant superstar for a while.
However, she, similar to Seth Rollins, suffered an attack during the match that reduced their chances of winning. She was clearly booked as the sympathetic babyface and an underdog. The thing is, for her upcoming WrestleMania feud, she's not going to be the favourite. She's going to be the underdog and WWE likely wants us to see her that way.
