Last week on RAW, we saw WWE legend Ric Flair get involved in his daughter Charlotte Flair's match. Flair tripped Charlotte Flair during her tag team match against Peyton Royce and Lacey Evans which led to Royce rolling The Queen up for a victory pin.
As per Bryan Alvarez of The Observer, the original plan was to have Ric Flair trip Peyton Royce instead of Charlotte Flair, and what we witnessed on WWE RAW may have been a botch.
"I have just been alerted by the way for those of you who watched RAW that, in fact, the story was supposed to be Ric was trying to trip Peyton, and it was supposed to be an accident."
Although Charlotte Flair's loss may not have been the original plan, she did a good job of masking it and creating a story with her father on RAW instead. The current Women's Tag Team Champion scolded her father, instructing him to go backstage after he cost her the win
