Matt Riddle might never get his match with Brock Lesnar but the WWE SmackDown star has claimed that it was the Beast Incarnate's match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania 30 that got him into WWE. Talking to Corey Graves on After The Bell podcast, he said:
I watched that PPV, and being an MMA fighter, I'm watching it and I'm seeing before my eyes - you know you see it over time, but WrestleManias mean something. When I saw that WrestleMania, I saw guys like Brock Lesnar beating The Undertaker and beating the streak. It's like, this is a new era.

I was like, "I have to do this."
Riddle has always said that he wants to work with Lesnar and Goldberg but both have directly told him that they would never share the ring with him because of his behaviour on social media and backstage.
