#3. WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle reveals Brock Lesnar wants to face Jon Jones
As things stand, Brock Lesnar is a free agent whose WWE contract expired at WrestleMania 36. There have been various rumors doing the rounds about Lesnar's future over the past few weeks, and they include a potential move to AEW and a return to UFC.
However, Lesnar is widely expected to re-sign with the WWE when Vince McMahon feels the need to get the Beast Incarnate back on TV. Until then, Lesnar will continue his hiatus, but the former WWE Champion still harbors a desire to fight Jon Jones.
During a recent appearance on the WrestlingInc Daily Podcast, Kurt Angle revealed that Brock Lesnar told him that he wants to fight the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
"Brock's told me that several times, that's who he wants...I think that might be the only way to get Brock to fight. I think he just wants Jones."
Lesnar hasn't had an MMA fight since 2016, and while he was set to fight Daniel Cormier in 2018, the proposed dream fight never came to fruition as Lesnar ended up staying in the WWE.
Brock Lesnar, as stated above, is expected to return to WWE when the company begins to chalk out the plans for his comeback match. A UFC return, however, can never be ruled out.
