#3 Cody Rhodes praises WWE icon John Cena
AEW and WWE may be rivals but that has not stopped multiple Superstars from praising their colleagues from the other companies. The former TNT Champion Cody talked about his equation with John Cena while talking on the AEW Unrestricted podcast.
Cody Rhodes revealed that even though he is not in touch with John Cena anymore, he has a great deal of respect for the former WWE Champion. Rhodes revealed that he used to drive with John Cena early on in his career and it was valuable experience.
"He's killing it. John's a great guy. I drove John around for a year - super valuable learning experience. He was going through a cowboy phase when I drove him around. He was into Coors Original, the Banquet beer, and he was such a diligent, hard-working guy. He was up at 6:00 a.m. every day squatting, nearing the 500-600 pound level. He was just an absolute Olympic lifting monster.''
Former WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes further went on to say that John Cena is a very nice person and a great locker room leader.
