The hype around RETRIBUTION might have withered away in WWE, but Mustafa Ali continues to be in the news. The faction leader has used social media expertly to explain the ideology behind his stable's gimmick.

Ali has also not shied away from taking shots on WWE programming either, as he targeted the stars who appeared on the Legends Night episode of RAW.

Ali appeared on RAW Talk and highlighted that WWE piped in crowd sounds for the legends. However, Ali's comments have reportedly rubbed a person the wrong way backstage.

During his Q&A session on Fightful Select, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that someone behind the scenes took exception to Ali drawing attention to WWE's piped-in noises.

SRS reported the following:

"I had heard that there was someone who took exception to him making light that they pipe in stuff… I asked about this, I was like, 'What would anyone be mad at?' And they're like, 'Well, he said that they piped in noise.' I said, 'They do!' And this person said, 'Yeah, but we don't want them going out there and saying that.' I'm like, 'Why not? It's obvious. It's okay. Baseball does it. Football does it. Basketball does it. Don't treat us like we're stupid."

Ali even tweeted after his RAW Talk appearance, in which he revealed that WWE officials might not trust him with a live mic again.
