#3 Possible Spoilers for Drew McIntyre vs Brock Lesnar

WrestlingNews.co have reported that the plan for the WWE Championship match is to have Drew McIntyre beat Brock Lesnar and become the new WWE Champion.

Before the show was moved from Raymond James Stadium to the Performance Center, the plan was (and probably still is) for Drew McIntyre to defeat Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship. I don’t think that plan changed when they taped the match a week and a half ago.

The Scottish Psychopath won the 2020 Royal Rumble to finally get an opportunity to face the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

Many fans would agree that McIntyre had this title win a long time coming as the young Superstar has shown tremendous growth and grit during his second run with the company.

Some speculation hinted at Lesnar retaining at the show in order to further the feud and have McIntyre win after live audiences were allowed back. However, it looks like WWE will be going ahead with the original plans.
