#4 WWE icon John Cena did not want to job to The Rock
WWE icons John Cena and The Rock have had two major clashes at WrestleMania. Their first match took place at WrestleMania 28 where a returning Rock beat WWE's poster boy at the time.
Although John Cena is a through and through company man, he wasn't very happy with WWE's decision to put the Rock over him at WrestleMania. Former WWE referee Mike Chioda revealed on Adfreeshows that he could sense backstage tension between John Cena and The Rock because Cena wasn't keen on laying down for the Brahma Bull.
"They were really shooting. And umm, I definitely felt, because when we were going over in the practice ring with certain things, before that match, I felt there was definitely some tension, and of course, it was coming from John because he has been busting his a** for this company. Top guy. Top merch, selling all the merch and everything, and I've got to job out to Dewey? to Dwayne?' (laughs)."
Chioda further added that he thinks Cena was p***ed at Vince McMahon for this decision. Mike Chioda admitted that John Cena was justified as he had been working very hard over the past few years only for some part-timer to return and put himself over.
