#1 WWE veteran points out a major problem with Rey Mysterio's booking

Iconic WWE Spanish announcer Hugo Savinovich recently spoke on SportsKeeda's UnSKripted with Dr. Chris Featherstone. He stated that WWE has mistreated Rey Mysterio and that they should have handled Dominik Mysterio's debut better.

Dominik Mysterio has become a major part of WWE after aligning himself with his father Rey Mysterio ever since he made his debut last year. Dominik has already been in multiple high-profile matches with Superstars like Seth Rollins and King Corbin.

However, Hugo Savinovich feels that WWE should have explored the Lucha Libre aspect more.

"Big potential, I think Rey paid a heavy price. They have mistreated him really bad. They gave him a good contract now. I believe that Vince [McMahon] made a bad mistake, a horrible mistake, by not letting the Mexican Luchador storyline work. It had to be 'El Mascarado' - The masked father Rey Mysterio giving Dominik Mysterio the torch, the mask."

Dominik Mysterio is just 24-years old right now and it is still possible that WWE may do an angle involving Rey Mysterio passing the torch to his son along with his mask.
