Shane McMahon unhappy WWE editors backstage
As per a report in Fightful Select, WWE did not air a lot of the segments taped from RAW Underground. As per Tom Colohue, Shane McMahon is now unhappy with the editing cuts.
RAW Underground is always pre-taped, and WWE have been cutting out a lot of segments from it as per recent reports. Tom Colohue reported on the Sportskeeda Dropkick DiSKussions podcast:
"RAW Underground is all pre-taped. That suffered major cuts too. Shane McMahon really wasn't happy about that, but he is at the mercy of the editors at the moment because when it comes to live things, you look at, for example, the Lana and Natalya vs. Mickie James segment. Mickie James has been rewritten every week since she's returned, and she's gotten less and less of a role each time.”
Colohue added that RAW Underground is something Shane McMahon felt was going to be protected. However, as it is not live, WWE editors decided to cut it down and only focus on stars who were going to be a part of the upcoming pay-per-view, WWE Payback.
