WWE Rumors: 4 Title matches to take place on SmackDown Live event

What’s the story?

SmackDown Live event takes place in Dublin next week and WWE are kicking things off in their European Tour with some exciting matches! The blue brand's live event takes place on 9th of May.

For the event in Dublin, WWE have advertised 6 big matches so far and that includes 4 title matches as per PW Insider.

In case you didn’t know…

WWE is heading to Europe next month and there are a lot of live events planned by the company. The tour starts on May 8th in Belfast, Northern ireland and finishes on May 18th in Erfurt, Germany.

The heart of the matter

The first SmackDown Live event is set to take place in Dublin, Ireland on May 9th and WWE have planned some big matches. The 6 matches linedup for the show, including the 4 title matches are:

– WWE Championsip: Kofi Kingston (w/ Xavier Woods) vs Kevin Owens vs Daniel Bryan (w/ Rowan)

– United Stats Championship: AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe

– SmackDown Women's Championship: Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair vs Naomi

– Women's Tag Team Championship: Asuka & Kairi Sane vs The IIconics

– The Usos vs Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev (w/ Lana)

– Matt Hardy vs Lars Sullivan

What’s next?

While all the matches sound exciting, the US Title match might be switched in the end. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles have moved to Monday Night Raw and the match might be moved to the RAW Live event.

Instead, WWE might opt to switch it with the Intercontinental Championship with Finn Balor taking on someone like Andrade for the title. If you live in Dublin, make sure you head to the live event as it is going to be a huge night!
