WWE Rumors: Baron Corbin could get a huge appearance change soon?
- Will this make Baron Corbin look cooler or more corporate?
What's the story?
It looks like former acting General Manager of WWE RAW, Baron Corbin, might be getting another appearance chance in the future. During a recent interview with Chris van Vliet, Baron Corbin revealed that he wanted to get a head tattoo soon.
In case you didn't know...
Baron Corbin first cut his long hair when he went "corporate" after Stephanie McMahon named him as the acting General Manager of Monday Night RAW, taking over from fan favorite Kurt Angle. Not only did Corbin shave his head for the role but he also changed his attire to suit it.
The heart of the matter
During his interview with Chris Van Vliet, Baron Corbin revealed how he had to go ask Vince McMahon for permission before he went and shave his head, elaborating on the need to do so:
“I went to talk to Vince about cutting my head at one point and he said, ‘Not yet.’ I went to talk to him again and he said, ‘Okay we’ll see what we can do.’ I think it’s gotta go through legal and stuff like that because it’s on action figures and video games and all those things. It’s not just one person going, ‘Okay you can do that.’ Or if I just showed up with my head shaved I’d probably be out of a job. I gotta keep this appearance. I can’t go and get tattooed without getting it ok’ed and stuff like that. Our appearance is what we do and it’s what kids see and what is marketed so you kinda have to have a method to the madness of it all.” H/T: RingsideNews
Corbin also revealed that now that his head was shaved, he wanted to get a head tattoo next like one of his favorite wrestlers, Bam Bam Bigelow:
“I wanted to get it done and Bam Bam Bigelow is one of my favorite wrestlers […] not flames, but I would like to tattoo my head and getting rid of the hair was the first step to get to there, so.”
We will have to wait and see what Baron Corbin's WrestleMania plans are but as of now, it looks like he's back to feuding with Braun Strowman.
