WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar's next appearance date revealed
What's the story?
While Lesnar is expected to miss both, he very well might defend his title at Fastlane, as his road to WrestleMania is set to begin sooner than expected, according to John Pollock of Post Wrestling.
In case you didn't know...
For Brock Lesnar, it's assumed by default that his last PPV appearance before WrestleMania is at the Royal Rumble. He's set to take on Seth Rollins, and it was confirmed on the RAW after Royal Rumble when he attacked The Architect.
It seems like Rollins will be taking Roman Reigns' place as the top dog in WWE (for the time being, atleast). It probably explains why he's going to be facing Lesnar for the Universal title at the grandest stage of them all.
It'll be Brock Lesnar's third straight Universal Championship match at WrestleMania, and the second consecutive year where he'll be walking in as defending champion. It's unsure how frequently he's set to appear on the road to WrestleMania.
The heart of the matter
John Pollock of Post Wrestling revealed that Brock Lesnar's road to WrestleMania is set to begin on February 18th, i.e, the night after the Elimination Chamber. Seth Rollins has reportedly suffered an injury (albeit, a relatively minor one) and isn't expected to get in the ring throughout February.
It's very likely that the interaction until March between Lesnar and Rollins will be vocal. It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
Brock Lesnar has a date with Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 35. It's not expected to be the main event, but it is expected to be a coronation of sorts for Seth Rollins.
