– The Stardust character debuted a couple of years back to very mixed reactions. Stardust who is portrayed by Cody Rhodes was made into a character to team up with his real-life brother Goldust.
Stardust and Goldust had a successful run in the beginning only to be hampered by injuries and bad booking. Stardust was then relegated to the lower mid card appearing as a filler for the multi-man matches involving the Intercontinental title.

Stardust had a superhero themed feud last year with Neville and also competed at a major PPV against celebrity wrestler Stephen Amell. He hasn't done much since and has been in and out of bookings appearing sporadically. The fans have been frantically calling for the return of Cody Rhodes as they regard him highly due to his wrestling skills and mic work.
The fans might just get their wish as Cody posted a photo on his twitter which would suggest the return of Rhodes for good. The photo accompanied a cryptic caption which just might point to Cody Rhodes’ return.
