What's the story?

On a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, Dolph Ziggler revealed that he wants to possibly start his own faction in WWE along with some of the more underutilized Superstars in the locker room.

In case you didn't know...

Despite rumors that Dolph Ziggler may not sign a new contract and won't be in the WWE Royal Rumble, DZ did, in fact, enter the Royal Rumble, eliminating Drew McIntyre. It was an impressive showing from him and he made it to the final three before being eliminated by Braun Strowman.

The heart of the matter

Dolph Ziggler was recently a guest on Busted Open Radio and during the show he discusses his idea for his own faction in WWE. Ziggler said that he wanted underutilized Superstars like Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Mike Kanellis in his new faction of misfits:

"I just noticed that the Major Brothers are getting a chance back on TV again and maybe people are getting a shot here or there that normally wouldn’t get one. I actually had three days off so I could figure things out. I was wondering if I could help guys The Major Brothers or Mike Bennett or a couple of guys just sitting around chomping at the bit in the best shape of their lives looking to do something kinda like a Misfits crew of guys who have all the pieces ready to go, but just don’t have management behind them.

Ziggler also went on to elaborate how he could help elevate the Superstars in his faction and help them reach the next level:

“Maybe someone like me could be a mouthpiece and lead them on to greater things. Maybe make a stand like the guys behind the scene against the hand-picked guys to be the stars. I always wondered if something like that could work and that’d be pretty neat I think.” H/T: RingsideNews
