WWE Rumors: Finn Balor's debut expected at the end of July
The IWC has all but given up hope on Finn Balor’s main roster debut ever since they caught a whiff of it in April. But true to form, it looks like the WWE will spring the moment on us when we least expect it.
According to cagesideseats.com, the former NXT Champion is expected to walk out from under the titantron soon, but the WWE won’t hold off on it later than July. One breadcrumb that could elevate this beyond conjecture is PWInsider’s report that Balor was at WWE headquarters this past week to do some filming.
Balor’s record title reign(292 days) as NXT Champion was broken by Samoa Joe, who beat him at a live event in Lowell, Massachusetts. Balor came up short in his effort to regain the title when he faced Joe in the first ever steel cage match in the promotion’s history. The loss was his first ever in an NXT TakeOver (June 8th) event.
NXT General Manager William Regal announced that “The Demon” will face international sensation Shinsuke Nakamura on July 13th . There is a lot of speculation that this might be the passing of the torch and if one ventured a little further, a debut at Battleground(end of July) isn’t really abstract.
