WWE WrestleMania 33 Rumors: Finn Balor to interfere in WrestleMania 33 match
What's the Story?
According to IWNerd, Finn Balor won’t have a match on the grandest stage of them all. However, that doesn't mean he won’t be appearing at Wrestlemania 33 because he’s expected to be the equalizer to Samoa Joe during the non-sanctioned match between Seth Rollins and Triple H in Orlando on Sunday.
In case you didn't know...
WWE officials didn’t want to bring Finn Balor for a match at Wrestlemania which could have possibly ruined his momentum after his return. The powers that be have some plans to change his look upon his WWE return as a way to improve his marketability and merchandise numbers.
There are rumors that he could be wearing a mask and other attire during his entrances that don’t involve his infamous body paint.
The heart of the matter
He may not have a match in Orlando, but WWE officials could be planning a huge return for Finn Balor on the grandest stage of them all. It’s unclear if Seth Rollins would announce Balor before the match starts or if he would even the odds after Samoa Joe interferes in the match, but it would be a hero’ s welcome for Finn, who has so much history in Orlando with NXT.
It would be considered one of the best moments of the evening, and the WWE Universe would be talking about Finn Balor the next day before Monday Night Raw.
After Wrestlemania 33, Finn Balor is expected to receive a huge push on Raw. If he aligns himself with Seth Rollins, Balor could begin a feud with Samoa Joe or Triple H after the grandest stage of them all.
It’s also being rumored that he could invoke his rematch clause for the WWE Universal Championship and face Brock Lesnar or Goldberg after their match.
Personally, I love the idea of Finn Balor returning to align with Seth Rollins against Joe and The Game. It would be justice for Rollins and provide Balor the chance to feud with Triple H or Samoa Joe. I think having Balor invoke his rematch clause on Raw the next night and facing Lesnar could be a great comeback.
Obviously, Joe or HHH would interfere, but that’s a feud I’d watch for a long time that would eventually lead to something big for Finn Balor at Summerslam.
