WWE Rumors: Interesting backstage details on current plans for Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been one of the top babyfaces in WWE over the past few years. However, with his 'heelish' promo this week on RAW, many fans are wondering if The Architect has turned heel yet again.

Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue tweeted that, on asking a source in WWE if Rollins had indeed turned heel, he was told that "it's complicated."

I asked a #WWE source whether Seth Rollins was indeed a heel again.The response was "It's complicated."Another source said similar. The impression I get is that his storyline requires a heel but long term there is freedom to compete with either side of the spectrum.

Seth Rollins had started teasing an edgier character ever since his feud with Bray Wyatt started some months back. Mr Nice Guy Seth Rollins turned into a destructive persona who was willing to beat Wyatt with any weapon he could lay his hands on in order to win their match at Hell in a Cell.

Rollins also burned down the Firefly Fun House in a move many believed to be out-of-character. While The Fiend Bray Wyatt has moved to SmackDown, it looks like Rollins may not be returning to his top babyface role on RAW anytime soon.

Is heel Seth Rollins best for business?

After turning on his Shield partners Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, The Beastslayer went on to have one of the best heel runs in the company as part of the stable known as The Authority, even winning the WWE Championship in 2015. His promo on RAW berating the entire RAW locker room looks to have sown the seeds for the Rollins of the past to return soon.

It is likely that while Rollins may continue to behave and act like a heel, he will most likely continue to portray a grey character. It is quite likely that Rollins enters into a feud with Kevin Owens going forward.
