What's the story?

Drew McIntyre was reportedly injured over the weekend as part of a WWE Live Event, but it appears that he wasn't the only superstar who could have fallen foul to the WrestleMania curse.

In case you didn't know...

WrestleMania is now merely a month away and it appears that much of the card has already been set in stone but that doesn't mean that plans can't change. Over the years there have been many superstars who have been forced to pull out of big matches because of injuries so this wouldn't be the first time plans have been forced to change.

WWE Superstars have no off-season which means that if they are injured in the build-up to WrestleMania then most of the time they are forced to pull out of the match and then come back later in the season.

The heart of the matter

Whilst the big news of the weekend is the fact that Drew McIntyre may or may not be injured after his match with Dean Ambrose on Saturday night, according to The Wrestling Observer, two stars who are definitely injured are Mark Andrews and Noam Dar who faced off in the recent tapings of NXT UK.

Noam Dar is reportedly struggling with a knee injury, whilst Mark Andrews was knocked out in his match with Dar and whilst he's expected to have suffered a concussion there is a belief that it isn't too serious.

What's next?

Mark Andrews and Noam Dar are expected to recover quite quickly from their recent injuries since they are both a huge part of NXT UK and will be needed at their future tapings.
