As previously reported by Sportskeeda, former WWE star MVP’s contract with Lucha Underground was unexpectedly terminated just days after he signed due to brach of contract.
The wrestler violated the terms of his contract after he interviewed Lucha Underground cast members for his MLW Radio Podcast, which was seen as a breach of disclosure by Lucha. MVP took full responsibility for his actions and never blamed anyone but himself for his contract termination, and went on to announce it on his YouTube channel.
However, it now seems that there’s more to MVP’s sacking than meets the eye.
Accoring to wrestlinginc.com, Lucha Underground insiders were left extremely shocked and unhappy with the sacking, with many sharing the opinion that the true reason for MVP’s sacking was not merely his supposed disclosure violation, but was in fact a cover up for something else entirely.
MVP refused to discuss the manner of his sacking on a recent podcast, but former WWE writer Alex Greenfield has his own theory, noting that MVP was betrayed, but refused to elaborate any further.
