WWE Rumors: Popular WWE Network show's second season in doubt?

Even the wigs work

One of the many (hehe) reasons people love the WWE Network is the Edge and Christian Show That Reeks of Awesomeness. The camaraderie between the tag team legends and more importantly, real-life best friends is inescapable and their ability to find the funny bone is laser-guided.

But the fairytale might not last, with PWInsider reporting that there isn’t anything to indicate that a second season of the show has been taped. The show’s first episode aired on the WWE Network on February 16th this year and is a veritable hit, especially with smarks who aren’t too mainstream(there are so many!).

The show is hosted by Edge and Christian, but has featured WWE big names like John Cena, Big Show, Arn Anderson, Gene Okerlund, Sheamus, Dean Ambrose and Kane, to name a few, literally.

It holds a 7.7/10 rating on IMDB. It was reported a few weeks ago that Christian’s performer’s contract was ended because it’s terms of employment were valid though he hadn’t wrestled a match since 2014. The same report suggested that he will continue to be attached to the company.

Both of the former WWE Champions are no strangers to acting, with Edge having appeared in TV shows like ‘Sanctuary’, ‘Haven’ (based on a Stephen King novel) and most prominently, ‘The Flash’. Christian also had some screen time in Haven and also had a small part in the Clive Owen-Monica Bellucci starrer ‘Shoot Em Up’.
