What's the story?

The biggest story heading into WrestleMania 35 this year has undoubtedly been the suspense around whether or whether not The Deadman will have a match, or even be part of WrestleMania this year.

We had reported earlier that while WWE was interested in having The Undertaker appear at The Grand Stage, they had no plans for the former WWE Champion.

Reports later suggested that The Undertaker would most certainly be making an appearance at WrestleMania:

However, unfortunate as it is, Observer (via Cagesideseats.com) has stated that WWE still doesn’t have a match planned for Undertaker at WrestleMania 35.

In case you didn't know...

The Undertaker has been a staple of WrestleMania for a long time now. He held the record of an amazing undefeated streak which was shattered by Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30, bringing the streak to 21-1 at that time. The Deadman has lost only one more - to Roman Reigns- time after that.

Last year, The future Hall of Famer defeated John Cena in a matter of minutes.

The Undertaker made his last appearance for WWE at the Crown Jewel event held in Saudi Arabia in late 2018.

The heart of the matter

It would, indeed, be a shock to all WWE fans if The Undertaker does not have a match at WrestleMania this year; WrestleMania just won't be the same without The Phenom being a part of it.

Another possibility is that while The Undertaker might not have a match at the Showcase of the Immortals, he may make an appearance to announce his retirement or an address his future with WWE.

What's next?

WrestleMania is just a few weeks away, and it will be interesting to see what the future holds for The Undertaker.
