What's the story?

The Undertaker is winding down his in-ring WWE career, and has now even been a part of events outside of the WWE world. 'Taker is still a big draw for WWE and they are looking to capitalize on it by booking a match for him at WrestleMania 35, as per Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In case you didn't know...

The Undertaker has been busy lately, taking part in events and also appearing in a video in a singer, Bad Bunny's video.

He is also set to be a part of Starrcast, a wrestling convention, which will see the likes of Chris Jericho, Young Bucks, and other AEW stars participate in.

The heart of the matter

Recent reports have suggested that Vince McMahon is unhappy that The Undertaker will be a part of Starrcast, considering it will host the rivals of WWE, All Elite Wrestling.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that Vince McMahon and co. are making a big push to have The Undertaker compete at WrestleMania 35 following the announcement that he will appear at Starrcast. This is probably a way for Vince McMahon to show that WWE is still the biggest pro wrestling promotion in the world and that no one can upstage them.

The rumors and reports of the WWE Chairman's unhappiness at The Deadman seem to be true. Veteran commentator Jim Ross, in his Jim Ross Report podcast, confirmed these rumors.

“I heard it through the grapevine that The Undertaker’s decision to appear at Starrcast for Conrad Thompson has not been a popular front office decision. They’re not happy in the front office, apparently," said JR.

What's next?

There were several rumors doing the rounds earlier that The Undertaker will take part in his final WWE match at WrestleMania 35. But WWE hasn't set up any feud for The Deadman so far, as we approach the marquee show.
