WWE Rumors: Update on why Finn Balor is not on WWE TV 

What’s the story?

Finn Balor has been off WWE TV ever since his match against Andrade at WWE Super Showdown in Jeddah. Sportskeeda's own Tom Colohue has an update on the situations and has revealed that it is just a case of his opponent not being available at the moment.

In case you didn’t know…

In the latest WWE NEWS, Balor and Andrade went one-on-one in Saudi Arabia and were expected to continue their rivalry until Extreme Rules. The Demon King picked up the win at WWE Super Showdown, and there were rumors that the Intercontinental title would be on the line once again at Stomping Grounds.

However, when Andrade was in Saudi Arabia, his mother passed away. WWE gave him a few days off after the tragic loss in his family and recently, his family had another death. His aunt also passed away last week, and reports now suggest that Andrade will be given enough time to make his comeback.

The heart of the matter

Finn Balor was set to be in the feud with Andrade, but with the Mexican out, it looks like he will be off TV as well for some time. The Intercontinental champion is not set to be pushed into another feud as WWE are keen on giving a push to Andrade, and they want this feud to end with the Mexican taking the title off Balor.

The backstage news of Balor being off TV because of Andrade came out when Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue was asked on Twitter by a fan.

What’s next?

Andrade might be out for another week or two, and Balor might have to sit out as well. Unless the Mexican decides to take more time off WWE TV, the creative team will wait for the former NXT star to return.
