Ever since Cena’s return on the Memorial Day edition of RAW was turned into a beatdown by The Club, Cena and Styles are feuding with each other week in and week out. Their epic collision at Money in the Bank was soiled by the interference from Style’s buddies Anderson and Gallows, but it allowed Styles to gain a victory over the Cenation leader.
Several reports have indicated that this rivalry is booked to continue till the biggest event of the Summer, WWE SummerSlam. After this week’s edition of RAW, it appears that such rumors were indeed true and Cena vs Styles will be happening once again, most probably at Battleground.
Cagesideseats.com reports that this possible match at Battleground will be a little different. According to the speculations, a stipulation might be added to the match to make it interesting. It is also rumoured that a gimmick match between the two is possibly on the cards for WWE Battleground.
Given the nature of the feud, it would be safe to assume that if a gimmick match is to take place it will involve a steel cage. WWE might pit Cena against Styles inside a cage to prevent the intervention of Gallows and Anderson. Seeing Styles and Cena go at each other inside a cell will be a sight to behold for the WWE universe.
