It has been announced that WWE champion Dean Ambrose will defend his title against Seth Rollins on next week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. With the brand split coming up, there are speculations that Dean might lose the title to Seth just to add excitement going into the draft on SmackDown the very next day.

Losing the title to Seth will make sure that the architect of the Shield will retain the title at WWE Battleground in a triple-threat match against Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.

There were reports that WWE is trying to match up Roman Reigns against Seth Rollins at the Summerslam. Even though Reigns is still currently on suspension for violating the company’s wellness policy as he failed a drug test, the WWE will still be going through with this match-up.

It has been said that nothing has been changed, which means we can expect to see Reigns back in the main event scene on a consistent basis regardless of his suspension for his first violation of the Wellness Policy.

Dean Ambrose won the WWE championship at the 2016 WWE Money in the Bank PPV when he cashed in his MITB contract on Seth Rollins, who beat Roman Reigns to get back the title which he never lost.
