The WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz has been a surprise package for many off late, especially given that he made it to the WWE through Tough Enough and was largely looked down upon by many of his colleagues who had ‘paid their dues’ to get where they were.
But even his harshest critic would agree that some of his heel work off-late has been nothing short of phenomenal, with the on-screen pairing with his wife Maryse doing wonders for his character as well.
However, he hasn’t been seen on WWE programming too much off late given that he has been filming on the sets of Marine 5: Battleground these past few weeks. The only appearances he has made have been through short video clips that have aired on Raw.
But all this is rumoured to change soon according to Cagesideseats.com.
Apparently the Miz is expected to re-enter the house show circuit of the WWE this week after wrapping up the shooting of the movie. If that is to be believed, we can soon expect to see the Intercontinental Championship be defended on TV again soon.
