Former WWE Tag Team Champion, Tyson Kidd, has been sidelined with injury for more than a year now. Kidd injured his neck when a musclebuster performed by Samoa Joe went wrong during a dark match on Raw June 1st, 2015 episode.
In many ways. Kidd’s injury is similar to Daniel Bryan. Though Kidd has been optimistic about returning to the ring and rehabbing his neck, rumour has it that Kidd might never be cleared to compete ever again by the WWE officials. They are reported to be very resistant to clear him and this might soon force Kidd to speak out about his retirement like Daniel Bryan.
In an update of sorts, it is reported that Kidd’s talent contract is about to expire soon if it hasn’t already. The company has made its stand clear on Kidd’s in-ring return and it has indicated that the doctors might never clear Kidd to wrestle again. If indeed the company decides to release Kidd, we can soon expect a Daniel Bryan-esque retirement speech from him soon.
It looks like Tyson Kidd would be the next wrestler after Daniel Bryan to be forced to retire due to WWE’s stubborn policies. Whatever may happen in the future, we wish Tyson a speedy recovery and good health.
